This research study successfully developed the validation framework for an insect’s maneuver. The overall trends of the drag coefficient and lift coefficients matched reasonably well with data. Some deviations were attributed to the deforming mesh during timesteps and lack of boundary layer resolution which will definitely improve the overall validation. Nonetheless, the computational framework is accurate.
