Computational Fluid Dynamics Analysis of Bumper Design

The current study details CFD analysis of two race car geometries using the general-purpose computational analysis tool ANSYS Fluent. The objective of this work is to design a bumper and analyze the effect of vents on the bumper of the latter vehicle on the airflow and subsequently to the front wheel disc brakes. In this perspective, only the front portion of the vehicle is modelled in the current CFD study.
